What an cool day we are having in August. I had to run errands today and needed a jacket! Kevin took his sister for two job interviews today. I feel so bad for him. The guy is running ragged, two jobs, two bands, helping me driving his sister up to her apartment and job interviews.

Then gave his sister his couch and love seat for her new apartment and now he found out he will be needing it after all. He has not even paid for it yet, but he didn't have the heart to take it back from her.  

I was following and reading a long debate on facebook on a mutual acquaintance FB page. He is gay and him and some of his friends were posting biblical quotes to support or disprove gay people.

The posts were quite long and detailed, most of which were direct passages from the bible. Both parties were able to make some valid points by their own personal interpretation's. Not unlike each denomination does. BUT the only question I could see fit to ask after reading post after post after post is............

WHAT IF THERE IS NO GOD!?!?  then both points of view are totally mute and everything devote Catholics among others and their religions beliefs have been for nothing.  

Don't get me wrong. I actually believe there is a higher power, I am just not quite convinced of who or what it is. Religion is a very sensitive subject for me.

I have seen it destroy people when God and religion are supposed to be about love, unity and family. People suddenly start to feel their own mortality and seek out this God and start to change the person they are inside. I speak from witnessing this first hand. Disastrous life-changing results!

Just a little food for thought. Speaking of food, I made a very delicious lunch... I will leave you with my delightful food post and go get started on my sweet and sour meatballs for dinner.
