Otherwise ENGAGED!
August 21, 2014
David and I are very happy that someone and her boyfriend are now engaged!! I can't post any details until they make that announcement publicly. Most all the people they will want to tell don't read my blog anyway but I don't want to let the cat out of the bag before the happy couple. We are thrilled and very happy for the both of them!
My day has been a little stressed. Lots of work going on in the yard and then Hemingway is missing his mommy and very clingy. I am missing his mommy too though so he is in good company. I am sure in time he will be just fine and in the meanwhile we will just smoother him with loving! Don't worry Bean, we will take good care of him for you until you can get back here to see him. If David has his way you will probably be back here for our practice next week.
Looks like I got a job, it's kind of unofficial but I am detailing the vans for a Shuttle Service. They transport medical patients to hospitals and doctor appointments around Wisconsin. I have something to do again with my time.
Since me and Maggie decided to end the maid service I was wondering what the heck I was going to do with my time. I have been offered to take over dispatch job for the shuttle service too when they are away or on vacation. I am thinking on that one and there will be some training to do too, but I think it is something I could handle.
WE HAVE NO MORE KIDS LIVING AT HOME!! I never thought this day would come (not that I dreamed of it) sorry wonderful kids, but it has been 35 years since I have lived without a child to take care of and I am kind of enjoying this new found freedom! It is a little sad, but also very awesome! Now me and David can run around buck naked if we want, ok we will never really do that, but if we wanted to we could!
Today me and David looked at each other and thought, 'what should we do' um we can do what ever we want, go to the movies, out to eat, for a ride, just about anything and we don't have to worry about being home to feed children. F R E E D O M!! F R E E D O M!!
We once talked about adopting and then fostering but now that we have a taste of life without kids living in the house,we changed our mind. This gives us a little selfish time together before the grandchildren start coming.
THANK YOU BEAN! my new desk is working out great for me and I hope mine is working out great for you too! Here is a picture of my desk set up.
