NOW! Now I am allowed to say it. My beautiful daughter has just become engaged to her wonderful  boyfriend! We couldn't be more thrilled. They are a lovely couple and I mean that in every sense of the word. I am proud of them. David and I couldn't be more thrilled for both of them! 



I have to confess that we did know Daniel was going to ask her to marry him because like a gentleman, he came to us (the parents) and asked for our permission. Very stand up man thing to do. I want to thank him for showing respect for her parents. 

I have seen her ring but not in person since they are away for this special occasion. She sent a picture to me online and the ring is gorgeous and exactly like I imagined for her. It's perfect and her fiance' has very good taste! I can't wait to see it in person. 

It is my wish that they have a long and wonderful life together exploring what the world has to offer.
