Woke up crabby today but have been hiding it well. Had bad dreams and didn't feel like getting out of bed this morning. But I have to cut the grass today so up and at it. Earlier this morning me and Maggie ran over to Jo-Ann Fabrics, what a mess they have going on with moving things everywhere.

I was looking at pictures of my house because my son told me in a joking manner that my house looked like an old lady house.  I laughed it off, but then started to look closer around my house and it DOES look like an old lady lives here. Everything is muted in browns and beige colors. B--O-R-I-N-G!!  It really does look that way. So when David is gone on the road me and Maggie are going to do a total makeover. Here is a current look...  Sigh...  research the next few weeks... 


But on a good note, I made my corn chowder last night and we had it for lunch today! It was so good I  actually had it for breakfast too. Um! Um! Good!  :)

In this recipe I like to add a small amount of Cayenne Pepper to give it a little bite. I love this recipe because it is so quick and easy to make, and good for you too. This morning I added green grapes and that was breakfast! :)

Now I need to think about getting out on the mower before any rain rolls in...  Have a good day people of the cyber world.
