For the record, we have three wonderful sons! But I want to mention one today because he did a very selfless thing for his step dad.

David found out when he got home what the boys did to arrange help to him get out on his pilot training tonight, which quite possibly would have fallen though if he refused to go out. It looked like it was not going to be able to make it work and go out. The boys came up with a plan and helped David so he could make this trip (unpaid training) and not worry about things falling apart here while he was gone on the road for an undetermined time.

Thank you Chris, David was very touched and certainly didn't expect this. He came in from driving very late last night and when we told him what you are doing to help,he said, I have the best kids ever in a very soft and grateful voice. You really helped make this last minute training possible and less stressful with him having to leave like this on extremely short notice.

Kevin, thank you for making that phone call to your brother.  I could never have asked that of him. You guys all rock and we love you all very much!

Life has not been a picnic for any of us over this year (I know, broken record) but we all know it's the truth. We have all struggled in our own personal ways, but in those struggles we have managed to stick together and be there for each other and help each other, even when resources were mostly not there for any of us. We managed to get by and help each other as best we could.

THIS is when I really know I did my job as a mother right!! It makes me feel proud inside.

I am so proud of each and every one of you, more than I ever tell you guys. All of you have stepped up to the plate on one occasion or another to assist with something the family needed. You're all amazing!

One day when me and David are back on our feet we will make things up and do something real special for all of you!

P.S. Thank you Maggie for ALL your help with anything and everything, and to my cousin Scott for the nice letter to David. He feels so much better knowing family are willing to step in and help should something come up while he is away. Love you both of you two, very much!

I am a pretty lucky lady to have such wonderful family! :)
