  Hot and Spicy!

October 7, 2014

Just the way we like it! I made a batch of cheesy broccoli soup for me and Maggie. David is not a fan of foods with a bite so he wont be enjoying this soup! 'more for us'

I use jalapeno cheese and green chilli's to give it that bitey taste. I just had some for breakfast and Um it was so good and so cheesy!

Yesterday was spent cleaning the garage by me and Maggie. We got one of the sofa's and love seat in the trailer by ourselves. They were huge so yes, this was a big job, but we woman are strong and not afraid of hard work!

We cleared some of the junk out of the inside garage too. Now Kevin and Jim can work on his camero since they will have room to move around. I am proud of the work we did because we can fit my car inside there now too.

Kevin will be taking Whitey out today to get Leon from the veterans hospital and maybe a few other runs. He was supposed to go with David on his greenbay runs today too. I like that he gets to work closely with the boys, but that will be coming to an end soon; because it is almost time for him to go back out on the road with his piloting. He finished his bed lift, dresser and tools space in the van. All we have to do now is get the commercial insurance on the vehicle.

Sitting here today writing and feeling accomplished and the day just started. Not too shabby. I got Jinx prednisone into him today and later on I will get all the ear mite drops into all the kitty cat ears. That would be twelve ears since we have six cats to treat.

I am going to bring my friend Wendy some bottles and can's today, thanks to my son Adam for supplying us with two large bags full! They will go a long way into the spay and neuter or possibly pain shots or vaccinations for needy animals. Again, thank you so much Adam!

Homeless/feral animals are a big pet project of mine and something I take great pride in doing. My kids understand this and have been so helpful to me in so many ways for the homeless animal community. I certainly didn't need a psychic to tell me I did a good job raising up my children. I can see that for myself and I am so very proud of them!

I leave you with a picture of my son and his band at one of the shows they did this month!
