I was looking though some old photo's and found this one of David helping the girls carve the pumpkin. It made miss those days when the kids were all young and they would come in from school all excited to go out trick or treating! I would have to rush and get all their costumes ready, makeup put on and have the "don't eat any candy until we check it talk" Those days are long gone and I am so thankful I didn't miss any of it! But I sure would trade one of my days today to have one of them back! 


I always made sure to make our home festive during holidays, even if I had kind of a tacky decorating style. I was looking back at some of our old Christmas pictures and wondered what the heck I was thinking at the time. 

I've never really had a sense of style where clothing go and that followed true for my home decorating skills too. 

All the holidays are coming up quickly now. Hopefully we will all have a wonderful Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas!

My prayers go out to the families around the world who have lost or may lose family member's because of Ebola! 

God help us all that it is able to be contained from this point on and no one else has to lose their life from this horrible virus!
