The Chase is on....
November 26, 2014
The day before Thanksgiving... Let the fun begin.... ;)
First off, we have to eat a good breakfast before we start our day so I made croissants for me and David. Ham and cheese melted to delicious perfection and a side of orange juice! Yum!
I got a message from Traci that everything went fine with her surgery this morning. I am relieved now and wont worry about her. I am just disappointed they could not be here for dinner with the family. They will be missed. Happy Healing, Baby girl!
Meanwhile, I got Kelli's room made up today, I really hope she is okay sharing her room with Blaze kitty cat. We still have not found him a home and it's beginning to look like he will be here with us for the holidays.
I FINALLY got my budesonide yesterday. I could not afford it without insurance but with my discount card it was slightly cheaper. Only $233 plus my $46 for my ventolin rescue inhaler and then another $10 for my albuteral for my nebulizer. Asthma is EXPENSIVE!!
We are lovin our new phones! Well let me re-phase, me and Maggie are loving our new phones. David is complaining because he thinks they are too big to text one handed. Christopher is not home so he didn't see his yet, but I have a feeling he will love it. My hubby is a fussy butt. ;))
I got the deviled eggs ready to finish today, jello salad is done, stuffed olive and ham roll up platter is done. Today I will finish the deviled eggs with my new decorator tool, make them look like little ducks for aunt Maggie. :) I will make the other platters later tonight so they don't sit too long before tomorrow.
David is home catching up on sign shop stuff, chasing invoices! There is a peaceful quietness to the house today, but that's okay, I know tomorrow will be noisy with the sounds of family. :))
Congratulations to Hanna and Samuel on the birth of their new baby girl!!!
To all my friends and family near and far, may your Thanksgiving be full of love, laughter and family togetherness!!!
