We girls got to spend the night catching up and making Christmas plans! It was a short but nice visit. Dan and Traci brought Beans down with them and we had a nice time. I made everyone a big breakfast before they left to go back home. It was a short and sweet visit. Chris and Kevin were in Milwaukee as a mini vacation compliments of their bosses. I found our Adam had to work a lot of overtime so he was busy too!


I just found out my husband is on a bit of a lay off until April when their contracts are picked up and run until December. We had no idea this was part of this job but we sure found out. David was not happy about this piece of information he was not told about until this month. Thankfully he has the shuttle company to drive for and they may be still moving some towers, just not across country. His boss told him they may be hauling homes too, but this one is not a guarantee. Floyd was thrilled to hear this news, well not thrilled in the sense he wants David laid off, but in the sense he gets him back to drive shuttle. We do what we have to I guess.....

Well, in the course of writing this blog, David was called down to GB to spend the week moving towers. Sigh, now he has a dilemma because he told Floyd he would drive for him this week. THIS is the very reason people need to answer text messages and phone calls. David tried the entire weekend to get an answer from both parties about availability, but no one could answer that. Now he is stuck between two jobs and feels like he will be letting one of them down. EXACTLY what he was trying hard to avoid. :(

I would not want to be in his shoes right now. 

Well I need to run and clean the house from this weekend. UNFORTUNATELY I cannot leave to go out because my dear husband put his work van behind the car and took the keys. I'm pretty much stuck here.

Let's hope this week calms down because it seems to be starting out on a confused note already..

OPS.. I had the keys here all this time.. :(  oiy vej
