A bit perplexing! I pulled a post from here back when I first started writing daily journals. It was pretty intense and on the subject of Attention Deficit Disorder. (A.D.D.) and my daughter. I spent more than an hours time adding too, updating and editing grammar errors. I posted it on facebook and was kind of dumb founded it only reached six followers. Six! Yes, I said Six! and here I was worried people would actually read it and be judgemental, well no chance of that happening. Disappointing to say the least. It's not often I put something out there like that.

What would be a more interesting subject to post if you want to gain attention? Food! Food is a big attention grabber. At any given time I can post a recipe, a food blog, a simple photo and at the very least I will get thirty five or more people who liked it within seconds of posting. This scenario kind of bums me out a bit. We value food over mental health. Okay just maybe that makes a little sense.... 

I'm not taking the post down because I want to see if it picks up any more readers. It was a good read in my opinion and explained right down to the grain of salt what living with A.D.D. is like for people. Some great insight. 

As for my food posts, well when I am feeling down or want some attention all I have to do is post a pie or something and people crawl out of the wood work to comment on it. Maybe the subject content of the above just makes people uncomfortable. Who knows...

Another topic of great notice is my cats, yes my cats, people seem to love those posts. I get friends of friends followers on those kinds of posts. 

Something to mull over.....

In some really fun news, Gramma will be here on Monday. She will arrive around 5:30 pm so me, David and Kevin will be there to pick her up!

Her bedroom is coming along great and when all is said and done I will post a few pictures of it. She simply adores Christmas time so we filled her room with all kind of Christmas things. We even went so far as to paint the walls a deep red. We got her a new dresser, chair and sewing table because she she loves to sew when she is here.

The woman never ceases to amaze me. She is turning eighty years old, she has had double hip surgery, she can't drive because she is blind in one eye, yet she gets out anyway and sends Christmas post cards and gifts to all of my kids and us too. :) 

I cant wait for the baking night of cookies and Christmas goodies! 

Well I need to get back to work. My number one main squeeze driver just called me and made me smile. Love you David..
