I can't even begin to express my thanks and happiness for my wonderful family and great friends. This birthday was made so special already! 

At midnight mom Rosa called and sang happy birthday over the phone from Sweden. She does this every year and it still means the world to me, to all of because she does this for David and Maggie too. Although last year she forgot David. Ops, Gramma is allowed a few slips here and there. He knows without a doubt she loves him!

After the phone call, my dear husband decided it was a good idea to make me think there was a burglar in the house. He went thought this whole charade because he was trying to get me to go into the kitchen where a midnight surprise was waiting for me.

He was finally able to get me into the kitchen to see tons of balloons lit up in the dark, a red velvet cake on the table, flowers, cards and gifts. Next to that was my son Kevin and sister Maggie. HUGE surprise yes! The man got me again! He takes great pride in that for the record....... 

Kevin had to work on my birthday so he wanted to spend some time, even if it was at midnight. We all shared some cake and funnies, opened presents and then we went back to bed and Kevin went home. I felt very touched by their thoughtfulness!  I am truly a blessed woman!

I am not sure what is going on next because I was told I had to wait at the house and not leave until something comes here... Ummm  I have no idea but I do know it involves Christopher. (son) After David gets home we are going for an overnight stay at our secret get a way and then SOMETHING is happening tomorrow. He won't tell me. But said to be ready at 5pm for something............. hmmmm its not my birthday so what does the man have planned now?  I guess I will have to get back later and post, once I know..

In the mean time.....Thank you family for being the best family a lady could ever want!!
