It's a mellow kind of day today but that would be a good thing folks! 

I had a really fun day yesterday. The kids all came over and we went for a belated birthday dinner at Hereford and Hops. The table was full of love, the kids, my sister Maggie and my loving husband. I could not have asked for a better time. 

After dinner we came back to the house and had the best cake ever! It was getting late so the kids had to get on the road and head back home. After they left we still had time so decided to go over and swim at the motel some of our friends were at for the Super bowl party. 

It was a wonderful night filled with lots of love and happiness AND cool presents! My husband and sister pitched in and bought me a way cool mixer! Time for some baking again and it will be so much quicker, so much easier and a lot more fun!

I am at work so this post has to be short. Just following through on my promise to post last nights happenings!
