Three's a Charm!

We are supposed to be getting a huge winter storm. Welcome spring in the U.P. some of us are just not that shocked. I do hear its going to be a big one and some of the surrounding areas have been hit hard already.
I decided to let my son take our truck to work rather than have him get caught coming out of work late tonight in the mess. He has a small car and its a bit of a drive back into town. I also made him a bacon and lettuce sandwich and gave him $100. Yep! three's a charm. He woke up to come get lots of goodies.
I miss my husband SO much. I really wish he were home but in the same respect I hope he does not come this way until the storm is over. Wisconsin is a mess right now and its supposedly heading on to Michigan. He is driving a semi truck and that should make me feel safe but its also one heck of a heavy piece of machine and hitting ice with it could prove a little sketchy!
Lot's to be proud of since the start of the new year. David graduated the truck academy, I am double proud he managed to pass his road test with the flu. The poor man felt like total crap but he was determined and it paid off.
Son's Christopher and Kevin earned work rewards for jobs well done. Daughter Kelli made honors her last year at the University. Son in law Dan and Daughter Traci earned awards for work well done too. They all make me a very proud mom!
This is a short test blog. As most maybe have figured out, I've been gone for a long time. My site was hacked into and we just never took the time to get it back in order. It was only when I realized my Facebook posts were growing longer and longer that I really needed this space back. :)
David, be safe out there and know that I love and miss you very much!
