  Musical Muse...

March 21, 2014

Band practice last night was boring for me and Maggie. The group was learning new songs so no music flow. Stop start, stop start, stop start, etc.. :)

But in listening to the musicians playing last night, I learned something that I didn't really recognize in the past. Shadd is a super good bass player and sure knows what he is doing and you can hear that. He learns fast and does not have to read from a piece of paper. Much more appealing and professional looking. Here is a photo of Shadd doing what he does best!

(CHANGE)

I'm stooping to those low levels again and I don't want to do that so I edited my blog! I write down most all of my feelings of pain, anger, fear, frustration in ways I can't seem to express in person. I may feel one way while I am writing it out and then another afterwards, which is why I come back and edit things. I don't want to be the person who only write from those feelings, though that is much of what is going on inside the walls of my life these days. I will try and be a little tamer in my approach to how I feel about things for the sake of my family. /End

We are starting to book gigs even though we are still looking for a singer. For now Bill, Kevin and Dan will be doing most of the singing and that's cool. They all bring a new flavor of their own to the songs. Whom ever said variety is the spice of life must have had a similar instance in their life too. ;)

Speaking of spice! Maggie and Bill are getting pretty close. He called her beautiful and got her a very nice gift for her car, something that means a lot to her. Bill, you are an alright dude!! ;) She got to meet his mother and he met Rosa and since they all hit it off well, this can only be a good thing.

MORE good news, Maggie got a job! She is in training so I wont spill details just yet. But we are SO happy for her, her life here is taking shape!

I will be adding lots more pictures now that I can. The problem with this is that I have to use two browsers because I am kind of stuck on IE and my editor wont work, I have to go back to Fire fox and use that one for photo uploading, now to twist it all up, I love Chrome and use that a lot now but it wont resize my photo's. My WEB-DESIGNER HUSBAND is supposed to put together one editor that works in all browsers.

To my husband, I am sorry for the emotional break down this morning. My moods are swinging left and right. I turned a job down that I didn't feel ready for and it sent me into a tailspin. We need the money but with my health problems I didn't think I could handle the job and everything that went with it. Tears galore this morning. Poor hubby didn't know what to do.

I will keep looking for the job, sooner or later it is bound to come along....
