  The Truth on a Platter!

March 26, 2014

My mood has taken a slight nose dive since the happy cheery blog previously posted.  I apologize in advance for my boorish rant!

As my day rolled on I did some work around the house and had a nice visit with my son.  He had been to the hospital to have his stitches removed from his finger injury. (he was preparing dinner and cut himself good) We had a nice conversation while he was here.  We have had some nice visits lately, in fact I have with all my sons and my daughters.  I enjoy the good conversation with them.  :)

But keeping with the thread of my rant here is injustice number one:  My son is unemployed and trying to find work. His college credentials seem to be working against him in this small town.  Not just because I'm his mother, but because I am being honest when I say he is a good son, hard working, intelligent, articulate, eager to help out when needed.  Yet, he cannot find work because the places around here like hiring high school drop outs who have been in trouble with the law.

Yes! this would be true.  We reward trouble makers and penalize the hard working people.  This town is so backward in its thinking it's ridiculous and probably why it's a sinking ship!

I pushed education on all my children as a way to better their future, I just didn't realize this could very well be away from the place they grew up. /End first rant, no time really to expand on this.

Injustice number two:  The lying fake people almost always get ahead.  They hide their true identify until they land what they are after, then and only then will they shed their true snake skin.  But for some, it will be too late.  I won't expand on this one either, at least not here, not today, probably not ever!

The real financial security seekers are master at hiding this, they sugar coat themselves full of sweetness and anyone out there needing a sugar fix falls right into the pot of honey. All I can say on that one is good luck because your probably going to need it when all hell breaks loose.

Lastly, I REALLY despise people who pretend to be part of your life but dump you like shit in a toilet when something else comes along. I have nothing even remotely nice to say about this kind of person so I will stop here.

How can I cheer this blog up before I depart from the keyboard? Um, I don't think I can at this point.  I have so much more to write on this thought, but it's best at this point to close here.

Have a lovely evening people!
