UPDATE:  The female singer is driving down from Marquette to audition.  I am a little concerned she was unable to produce anything with her voice on it.  I will post more about this after tomorrow nights practice. 

When people want to sing, people really want to sing!  We have a potential FEMALE interested in joining our band!  She is from Marquette and very willing to drive down here everyday if need be!  We have been overlooking her constant pleas to try out for the band, but I think my husband is growing more convinced to give her a try.

It seems she has some impressive credentials in the world of music.  She is older and settled which is a big plus for us.  We asked her to send a demo of her voice to see if this could be a fit or not.  I think it might be interesting to have three females in our band.  Let's just hope she's not a screamer or it will be a absolute no!

David has always been dead set against having a female singer for that reason.  He wants the "Janis Joplin" voice.  I am routing for her and this to work out so we can get back out there and play for the public and play in Marquette and the surrounding areas. (We have been invited) Possible foot in the door to move back there?  Maybe if I can convince my husband it's time for me to go home,  I think he would love living there.  Marquette is a great place to be!  

Tons of shopping, restaurant's, movies, Presque Isle, Sugar Loaf Mountain, great camping places close by, and the best ever,  big beautiful lake Superior!  Seriously though, I really wouldn't have a problem moving back there. (A girl can dream) Right? 

I'm off to get started on my day and hope my man gets my phone activated today, it is temporarily out of service!
