Well I think we all decided the female singer is not going to work out. She has a very good voice for country but not quite the range we need for Madison.  I kind of feel slightly disappointed because her personality seemed a good fit.  So the search is still on and most likely it will be a male.  David knows what we need and this proved him right tonight.

I have a confession to make, while sitting in band practice tonight Scott (our former bass player) popped into my head without warning.  I was kind of feeling sad that he is no longer part of the band.  Yes we love Shadd and he is a good fit for us and a keeper,  but Scott was there from the beginning.  So, where these feelings came from tonight I have no idea, this is actually the very first time I've thought of him in relation to the band.  It was not supposed to be this way.  Maybe because the woman who came to audition was from our home town and neighborhood and it sparked memories.  I felt a little uncomfortable. 

The sad part of this is that he thinks it was me alone as the reason he is not in the band any longer and that is just not the truth.  He's been punishing me for this since then.  But to be perfectly honest, after all that has gone down between him and this family, how could it have worked out?  There is nothing normal about the circumstances that led us to the place we are today.

The person he chose to spend the rest of his life with is not a person we want to be part of.  She gave no consideration to my children when she told their father to get rid of the building, not caring about how this would affect them or their futures.  She wanted what she wanted and had no regard for my family what so ever.  There is no way he could be with Madison after that, too much animosity in the way.   

Madison is going into its fourth year together and we will find a singer and the band will continue.  Kevin and Bill are doing a great job with the songs in the meantime! 

OPS!! I almost forgot, Maggie got two jobs now!  She is training in as Hostess at Crispignas starting tomorrow.
