It was hard for Kelli to watch her blazer drive off today. It's interesting how the engine was so solid, but transmission was slipping, electrical was bad, lost the brake lights, dash lights, blinkers, and yet, it drove over to the junk yard like nothing was ever wrong with it.
That vehicle served both our girls well but it was time to put it to rest. It would have cost far more money in electrical work alone to fix it and make it road legal again, then you would have the transmission issues too.
But on the good side of this, my son will get pretty decent tires for his vehicle. Two mechanics (one friend and one family) looked at his tires yesterday and cannot understand how he has been able to drive on them and avoid getting into an accident. There is ZERO tread and wires sticking out. Very dangerous situation waiting to happen!
Out of the goodness of her heart, my daughter gave the tires to him since their father just blew my plea off to help his son get tires for safety reasons.
I don't want to start another rant on that subject. There is not enough in this lifetime to fix the mess that's been made of our family and our business.
Have a great day cyb folks, ours is raining!
