This Easter I have decided to throw out my traditional baked ham dinner and make Sweet Baby Rays, brown sugar and hickory flavored spare ribs!  Yup! getting rid of the old traditions and starting brand new ones. 

This is another holiday first for Maggie so I am excited to do up an American Easter feast for her to enjoy, well for everyone to enjoy.  This is also the weekend of our engagement, me and David.  Easter is one of my special occasion holidays so I like to do a little extra for the people I love....

In sticking with my own tradition for my blog, I will be posting the dinner menu for Easter Dinner, but not today.  Unlike all the other years, I don't quite have this menu worked out.  



Today's agenda is making some corn chowder with bacon bits. Cleaning the house and tending to the farm of animals.  BAND PRACTICE TODAY!  Looking forward to that and the new set up.  I am also real glad the lyric sheets got printed out finally.  

I am feeling better today but Kelli is not feeling better.  There must be a bug going around because Chris was not feeling so good either and Adam has this horrible cough.   Not fun seeing your kids sick too! Hopefully we will all be feeling good before the weekend so we can eat little chocolate bunnies..... ;)

So off to the kitchen to fry up my bacon and get my chowder assembled before lunch time. I wish all my cyberland friends a happy, healthy and fun filled day!
