Ties Binding..
April 29, 2014
I want to thank my sister Maggie for being there for me in what was a scary but familiar event for me. To begin with, she was dealing with her cat having surgery and thinking the other one of her cats was seriously ill. The day was more than a little stressful for her, plus she had work. Then at 1:40 in the morning I went knocking on her door to bring me to the Emergency Room at our local hospital for an uncontrollable asthma attack.
Maggie didn't bat a single lash on her beautiful eyes, she got up quickly and dressed and we set off for the hospital. It was such a stress filled day for her and she had to be so exhausted from worry over her cats and the long drive her and my son took out of town to bring the cats to the clinic and back again. (Which by the way the cat's are doing well) We got the bandages off Chase this morning and him and Sasha are both on Antibiotics now and doing just fine.
Poor Maggie has to work double shifts today and on two hours sleep. But she never complains, she simply states to me, ' I will sleep tomorrow' Ya gotta love her, I sure do! I decided to make her some interesting scrambled eggs and bacon today. I will explain what I meant by that another time. She loved it and that's all that counts. :) SHE is the real deal, a genuine heart of gold and SHE IS INDEED A REAL TRUE SWEET PERSON!
Family means the world to her and you can tell. She has done more than her fair share helping people around here and being there for all of us. She has met with a lot of heart break since moving here, loss of a promised job and future in something she dreamed of doing with our family. She was in a car accident, turned down for certain jobs, struggling to make it at the jobs she was hired for, cat's surgery, sister sick, and worrying about our mom who is back in Sweden alone.
She is one of the most generous caring souls I have the pleasure of calling my family. She shows great strength and courage and I am so proud of her! I don't honestly think I could do all she has done at this point in her life. BRAVERY comes to mind when I think of my sister Maggie!
Some people really dropped the ball on this one as far as she is concerned because she really is a true gem!
We won't make that same mistake. We are bonded for life long sisterhood and I couldn't be more thrilled.
We ALL LOVE YOU, sister and auntie!!!!
