  Right is Wrong!

May 19, 2014

When something right happens it usually meets with wrong doing.  I'm annoyed today by the way my youngest daughter is being treated by a bunch of childish immature and jealous girls at the college. Yup! college aged girls acting like a bunch of high school babies!

I don't know who the parents are of these people who act like this, who raises their kids to be so judgemental about people they don't even know and have never spent any time with?  I am very proud that I did not raise my kids to be so prejudiced against people for any reason. My kids have manners and intelligence and just don't behave in that way.

My girl has so much on her plate right now and to have to contend with idiotic behavior from her peers is just ridiculous!

Now she may not have a place to live when she moves for school. yell  This entire year for her has been a nightmare and I am really amazed she managed to pull off an outstanding end of the semester.  She has fought the entire year and had major disappointments and let downs this year.

I am very thankful she has an amazing step father who has made sure to be available for her.  She has relied heavily on him over the last several months.  It feels good to me that they are so close.  If we could all be so lucky to have a father like that in our lives, I sure did not.  In fact my dad never stuck around to raise us kids. My mother did and though things were far from perfect with her,  I know she did the best job she could at the time.

Sometimes I don't think parents realize or recognize the significance they really do have in their children's lives.  I think the most important thing I want my kids to know is that they have always been very loved by me.  I couldn't possibly have done anything else better with my life than to be their mom.  I will never take my kids for granted or GOD willing ever do anything consciously to hurt them.

On a less sombre note, I have to pick up my work shoes tomorrow, Maggie too.  Bill is going to help spread the word on our new business since he has some good contacts with the very group of people we are targeting.  I took David over and showed him the equipment we picked out and he liked it.  I have to work next weekend so more money to my pot. I still have to come up with my half of the money.

Got the grocery shopping done tonight, I am good too, calculated almost to the exact dollar.  But David threw in some pens and that threw me off (let's blame him) tongue-out

We sold our old riding tractor today but my exercise bike did not sell yet. Boo, but if it does not sell in this week I will put it away until our June rummage/jewelry sale. Hopefully we can raise some money for a couple of causes we have going on.

Bedtime for me folks,  it has been a very long day and tomorrow we have more running to do.

Have a good night people of the cyber-world....
