  Rainy Daze!

June 7, 2014

Today we went and looked at the van for David again and then it happened,  Jenna found a really cute Ford Escape for the new business. tongue-out

I knew this was not going to fly with my hubby and I was right.  Can't hurt to try right? The lighter colored van is still there and the car lot owner said he would make me and David a smoking good deal if we get two of them. It's a great plan but the problem is we have not sold the truck or my car yet.  Sigh.......

I am going to take a Hugh hit on my car because now I have to sell it "AS IS" meaning the problems will cost someone to fix and that will come out of their pocket leaving less in my pocket. My hands are tied on this one.

Hopefully we can get this going soon and get them both sold. David has to be in Chicago for his certification testing. Talk about life changing events!

My son came home for the weekend and I am feeling sad that I didn't have any home cooked food for him. Money is so extremely tight right now that I did not get to the grocery store. We did go tonight so I will make something for tomorrow in case he wants to eat something before he heads back to GB.

We all decided against going to the park to listen to the band. The mosquitoes are horrible besides the fact David wanted to catch up on some jobs we have been putting off.  Maggie had a headache and Bill didn't seem to disappointed in cancelling either.

Our business cards should be in soon and our insurance taken care of.  We do need to sit down and go over our pricing structure and job sheets.  I wish there were some good samples out there that I could take a peek at to see how others do their forms.  I hate the office paperwork part of this business. When this is out of the way I am going to feel much more relaxed about things.

I suppose it's time to get off here and cuddle up to my husband and watch our marathon of SVU Law and Order.  He has caused me to become ADDICTED to this program.  I love Netflix too!

Good night Cyber-friends......
