We just got back from Amelia's graduation. We loaded up on so much sweets me and David both feel ready to throw up!  Great party though, very good food and first time I have ever been in a airport hanger! :)

I was kind of waiting for Jim to ask if we wanted to go up in one of the planes. Bill and Maggie decided to go down to the brewery afterwards and elsewhere before she has to go into work tonight.  Bill seems to know everybody where ever we go. 

The guys were all standing around harassing David a little and telling him the horror stories out on the road and impending road initiation! Nothing has rattled his cage just yet.  His certification class is next week in Illinois. GPS where are you when we need one! (The GPS genie appeared and we got one) Thanks John or Jim :)

Rest of this weekend will be just relaxing and studying for David. I am really proud of him,  he has been though a nightmare year, everything collapsing down around him, when most people would just give up and throw in the towel, he is finding ways to make things work. 

I have resigned myself to believe some people get handed everything in life and don't really have to work to hard at anything, then there is people like my husband who get nothing handed to them, they fight hard to get by in this world. Maybe we will never have much, but he has what few do, the drive to get out and make things happen and not wait for someone to hand him his life on a platter. 

I know this new life change is scary, it's of course NEW and comes with very little guarantee, but it does not stop him from going out and trying to make the best of it. We won't really know if this was the right decision or not because only time will tell us that. But I believe when I asked God to point us in the right direction, this was the way he wanted him going, at least for now.
