I decided to grill some food early today so we can relax the rest of it.  It has been so busy there is no time for just sitting still and doing nothing. 


I made some brats, hot dogs, chips, potato salad and chocolate chip brownies! I figure my son can take some of this food back to GB with him too if he wants any.

David is messing with the GPS he borrowed from John so he can get it set before his trip to Illinois.  This is all really happening and I seem relatively calm right now.  I am not sure if it's because I am just settled with the idea already or reality just didn't set in yet. 

Either way, I am fully supporting my husbands decision to make this change in his life.  Nothing is forever, at least that is something I learned not so long ago. I am even considering moving to Wisconsin to be closer to his port. 

On a brighter note. My son just got here so I am done with my short little blog. Have a wonderful rest of the weekend folks!
