My Xray report came back and I need a follow up with my doctor. I am so used to bad news getting this report was not even shocking at this point. They did find something in my shoulder so more evaluating is ordered. I will post more when I know more....

In the meantime I am sitting here feeling sad again today. One of my strays (cat) was attacked by a larger animals and I fear they were killed. I found a lot of fur and a rather large puddle of cat urine. This makes me very upset. Now I have to find a way to secure our garage so larger animals cannot get inside at the cats taking refuge in there.

I am going to post a photo of a stray cat my daughters found many years ago. We named him Eduardo because of his mustache. But for short we called him Ed. This cat was so intelligent and amazing. I don't think I fully appreciated him at that time.  I was so busy caring for small kids and lots of animals I just didn't take the time I should have with him. 

We only had him a few short years because he developed kidney disease and died very quickly, but the time we did have with him was great. Ed was loving and giving animals. Obviously grateful for us saving his life for a little longer. Eating orange peelings out of the garbage is the desperation we found him in. When I think about what he must have gone though out there alone it breaks my heart.

Here is to Ed, the best cat ever, a loved lonely heart that brought laughter and joy to our family the short time he was with us... RIP Ed....
