David has a shuttle run to Milwaukee today and Kelli went with him since she is off of work. It is nice they get to spend a little time before she leaves for school in less than three weeks now.
I can't seem to wrap my head around the fact ALL my kids are now living on their own and this house that was once filled with the sounds of family and the hustle and bustle of five children, friends and fun is no longer. This is going to take some getting used to on my part. I am not sure if I like the quiet or not yet.
The good news is that I still have six cats, a bird and big Labrador Retriever to chase after and trust me when I say that they are almost a full time job some days. I also have a full time job cooking, cleaning, taking care of a two acre lawn. Maybe I just won't have too much time to feel sad or sorry for myself because all my babies are grown and gone.
I am going to go out and finish the lawn I started yesterday. I got the front cut and one row on the side and it started to pour rain. I need to finish dressing and get my move on.. I leave you with a picture of my beautiful baby boy, my labra brat, Jackson Montgomery!
