I really should have made a party out of painting. It was so hot out and we were painting with oil paints. So stinky too! Maggie came home from Bill's concert in the park and helped me a lot. It looks wonderful. We will sand the deck boards tomorrow and stain some time this week. 

Tomorrow we are having a family picnic at the park and I am so looking forward to this. Relaxation will be nice. 
Kevin and the band brought Traci home for the weekend so she can be at the family picnic. Aunt Kay and Uncle Ron never got to see Traci ever, I don't think anyway.

I am tired beyond belief and I am sure David is as he has been sanding, priming and painting his van all day. He talked to John and he has an official start date.  Makes me nervous but I understand we must do this.  I leave you with a home photo of the door all painted and then nap for a half hour and back out to do something else.
